Code of ethics
GUARDIAN’S CONSENT
To request a communication session, you must be the animal’s guardian, meaning the person responsible for their care. I do not conduct sessions for animals who are not under your care.
THE ANIMAL’S CONSENT
The first thing I ask an animal when establishing a connection is whether they consent to communicating with me. Without their consent, I will not proceed. Consent is usually given, but you will be informed if the animal does not wish to communicate.
SHARING THE INFORMATION
I relay the information I receive as faithfully as possible, with the aim of helping to improve the animal’s quality of life. Depending on your preference, the information received during the session will be shared with you either by phone or through voice recordings.
Please remember that your animal’s point of view may differ from your own. The communication should therefore be approached with an open mind and a genuine willingness to listen to your animal.
RESPECT FOR ANIMAL COMMUNICATION
Requesting an animal communication session should be a conscious decision, made only when you genuinely wish to listen to your animal. Please approach the session with sincere and respectful intentions towards the animal, yourself and the communicator.
RESPECT FOR ANIMALS
Animals may not wish to discuss certain present or past situations, and I will never force them to do so.
If the animal is unwilling to answer one of your questions, I will let you know. I will always do my best to provide answers, but it cannot be guaranteed that the animal will wish to discuss everything you ask about.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Everything I receive during a communication session remains strictly confidential between me, the animal and their guardian. No information will be shared with third parties without the guardian’s written consent.
RIGHT TO DECLINE A SESSION
Before paying for a session, you must contact me so that I can assess whether animal communication may genuinely be helpful to you, whether your reasons for requesting it are appropriate and whether your questions are worded in a way that the animal can understand.
If, for any reason, I believe that the session would not be suitable, I reserve the right not to proceed.
WAITING TIMES
Animal communication is not my only profession. I will always do my best to respond within a reasonable timeframe, but the expected waiting time will be discussed during our initial introductory conversation.
INTERPRETING MESSAGES
Messages from animals may be received through images, sensations, emotions, words or phrases, which means they are not always easy to interpret.
Misinterpretations can occur, but every animal communicator does their best to provide the clearest and most accurate understanding of the messages received.
HEALTH AND BEHAVIOURAL ISSUES
An animal communication session does not replace the work of a veterinarian, behaviourist or trainer.
It may offer insight into the animal’s perspective regarding physical discomfort or behavioural difficulties, but whenever necessary, you will always be advised to seek appropriate veterinary or behavioural support.
For sessions involving horses, I may also provide training advice or suggest working together on a dedicated programme based on what emerges during the communication.
